Meditation and Mental Clarity

On a microcosmic level, when we meditate we’re systematically letting go of preferences. We have to, otherwise we stop really meditating and start fixating on the various thoughts that pop up. This is easier said than done; it takes many years for the mind to be able to enter a space of clarity every time we sit. But clarity vs. unclarity is just another distinction.
